Plain Language Information on COVID-19 (in 11 languages)

This 8-page booklet about the Coronavirus is written in plain language. It was created by and for people with developmental disabilities. It focuses on “need to know” information (not “nice to know” information). Please share it widely. Our goal is to keep people with disabilities healthy during this national crisis. It is available in many languages:

Thank you to the California State Council on Developmental Disabilities for quickly translating our 3 COVID-19 booklets into Spanish. Thank you for being such a great leader ensuring we reach self-advocates and their families who speak Spanish.

To the NYS Developmental Disabilities Planning Council we are grateful for your dedication to inclusion. Thank you for providing translations into Bengali, Korean, Haitian Creole, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

We want to express our gratitude to the Canadian Down Syndrome Society for translating this booklet into French. We appreciate your help.

Our sincere thanks to the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities for providing translations in Mandarin and Vietnamese. This is a great service to people with disabilities, their families and providers.
