A Project About Durable Medical Equipment

Durable medical equipment (DME) is medical equipment and supplies that a doctor orders for a patient to use in their everyday life. It includes wheelchairs, canes, oxygen tanks, diabetes testing supplies, and much more.

Jordan did a survey to find out other people’s experiences with getting medical equipment. He wanted to find ways to lessen the time it takes to get equipment.

Jordan made presentations to policymakers about this important advocacy issue.
