Sex Talk for Self-Advocates Webinar #5: Birth control and contraception
Sex Talk for Self-Advocates Webinar #5 is about birth control and contraception. Our panel of sexuality educators and self-advocates discuss questions and topics related to birth control, such as:
- “What is birth control?”
- “What are the types of birth control and how do you use it?”
- “What are the side effects to birth control?”
- “How do you get birth control?”
- Family planning considerations.
This webinar is part of an on-going series that addresses self-advocate questions about relationships and sexuality. This series is a great learning opportunity for self-advocates and people working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to better understand sexual health needs.
