Sex Talk for Self-Advocates Webinar #3: Safe Sex Practices – Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)

This webinar is on safe sex practices related to sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

The sexuality educators will talk about questions and topics such as:

  • “How do I have safe sex?”
  • “What is a STI?”
  • “What do you do if you get a STD?”
  • “How do you ask your partner if [they] have a STD?”
  • “How to avoid diseases?”

This is a great learning opportunity for self-advocates, and professionals and paraprofessionals working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to better understand relationships and sexuality.

This webinar was produced by the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) with presenters from Georgetown University Center for Child and Human Development, SARTAC, Green Mountain Self-Advocates and Elevatus Training.
