Interview With the Gage Brothers About COVID-19 Vaccination
People First Tennessee created two resources to encourage their members and others to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
This video is a discussion with the Gage Brothers who are both members of People First Tennessee. Samuel and Bill Gage are very well-respected and admired for their long history of involvement in systems-change advocacy efforts for Tennesseans with disabilities. The interview was done by Samuel, a past President of People First Tennessee. The Gage Brothers talk about getting the COVID-19 vaccine. This conversation was recorded at the office of The Arc Tennessee in June 2022.
People First of Tennessee organized a Summer 2022 Freedom Fest. Over 85 self-advocates and their families and support staff gathered for the first time in person since the start of the pandemic in 2020. It was a great time to share:
