On April 27th, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) put out new draft rules.
They are called Ensuring Access to Medicaid Services or the Access Rule. The goal is to improve access to, and quality of, Medicaid services. The draft Access Rule makes big improvements in Medicaid Home and Community Based Services.
Input from people with disabilities is critical. Comments must be received by July 3rd, 2023.
