Overview of Disability History

This resource is the complete revised history session of the New Hampshire Leadership series. It provides an overview of disability history within the country with a minor focus on New Hampshire and the surrounding region. For self-advocates, it is important to understand what has succeeded and failed in the past to better inform our decisions in the future. Studying history also helps us to understand the present, which also helps improve the strength of self-advocacy.
