Randy Lizotte: Self-Advocacy and Beyond. Interviews with Leaders of the Self-Advocacy Movement
Randy Lizotte lives with his wife in St Albans Vermont. He works full time as a peer advocate facilitating self-advocacy training and support at Northwest Counseling and Support Services, a provider of developmental services. During the past 8 years, Randy has worked as a consultant and trainer for Green Mountain Self-Advocates traveling across the country providing technical assistance and training to state self-advocacy organizations. Randy was one of the key organizers of the Celebrating Sexuality conference held in Vermont in May 2007. He is a peer sexuality educator who co-facilitates a men’s group and teacher of a variety of sexuality and self-advocacy workshops. Since 2010, Randy has served as the President of Green Mountain Self-Advocates and was elected by his peers due to his unwavering commitment to speaking the truth to power.
